Words are not enough to express how grateful I am to everyone from CCR for all the work they did put towards my recovery. Deb with the warm welcoming and attention she gave as I walked in. Justine my counselor, who guided me deep through the root causes of what was holding me back. Michelle who added so much valuable knowledge that gave me such insight that has placed me in a vantage position in my life today. My brother William who through group sessions and one & one conversations, added much wisdom of life experiences and how to keep going despite loss or struggle. Will you’re truly an example to follow my man. This shout out also includes Jason who also had several gems of wisdom to share and always said things I needed to hear, whether I liked it or not, and the delivery was always on point🤘🏼🤘🏼Needless to say, I wish I’ve found this place many years ago yet there’s no better time like the present. Thank you guys 🙌🏼 One Love. Tony

This program is absolutely a life saver. From my admission date to my discharge I was treated with compassion and respect. The CCR staff and the RA's were top notch. The accommodations at the house were amazing. Group therapy and individual therapy gave me the tools to cope in the real world. I would reccomend this program to anyone with an addiction. I will miss everything about CCR!

Connecticut Center for Recovery is a great treatment facility, and program, methodically structured to more accurately emulate the real world outside of a treatment facility, while retaining a controlled environment. The specific treatment groups allow you to open up to your peers with similar struggles, as well as counselors who understand your struggles, and help guide you toward improvement. The activities such as an opportunity to visit the gym everyday, as well as efforts to provide and lead you towards a balanced diet and healthy habits allow you to reconnect with your healthy state of being, and build healthy habits to continue with. The regimented structure of the program is highly beneficial for building and maintaining a healthy mode of living, and make the transition back to regular life easier than other treatment programs without much routine.

Connecticut Center for Recovery was an amazing program for my son who had been dealing with alcohol abuse and mental health issues for many years following the sudden loss of his father. Once he agreed to treatment and entered the program he realized how much better he could feel when not drinking and, thereby, letting the medication that he needed become fully effective. He admitted after only a couple of weeks that he felt better physically and mentally than he'd felt in years. He formed relationships with other men and women who had similar struggles and finally felt embraced by a community that could understand his struggles. He had their full support as well as participating in the awesome therapeutic sessions (individual and group) with the counselors on staff. After going through a 10-day detox program, a 6- week in--patient experience, followed by an intensive out patient program while living back at home he is now 7 months sober. He has restored all of his relationships with family and friends, is genuinely happy, and has been gainfully employed for a couple of months. None of this would be possible if he'd not participated in the CCR experience. Thanks to the entire staff for your caring and concern and continued follow-up even after my son is out of the program. I would highly recommend this program, especially over a hospital-based program, for anyone that struggles or has a loved one who struggles with substance abuse.

Connecticut Center for Recovery helped me immensely in my process of working through my Alcohol and drug use. The staff at the the facility cares very much about all of the clients and will bend over backwards for anything you may be struggling with or need. My Care Coordinator Chris not only handled my legal issues for me, but also went above and beyond in connecting me to an outpatient program for when I left and went back home to Texas. The Clinicians Alexis and Michelle cared about us all and taught me a lot of coping skills and ways to be aware of flawed thinking that so many of us had, which led to a lot of my abuse. Justine, the Program Director made sure that I was attentive and absorbed all the information I could the entire stay and made sure myself and fellow housemates had what we needed at any time. They all know that the program works and want to see you succeed and come out the best version of yourself as possible, and it worked out great for me!

The program at the Connecticut Center for Recovery is amazing. With the support and help of their talented clinicians, I was able to regain my confidence and control of my life. The clinicians and staff are both supportive and caring. The facilities are welcoming and create an atmosphere of recovery. Both the in-patient and extended out-patient programs helped me get on top of my issues and transition into a healthy lifestyle. I strongly recommend this program if you need to help.
