Connecticut Day Treatment Program

Connecticut Center for Recovery offers a Day Treatment Program where patients can receive clinical and medical care. Partial-day treatment programs allow a person to receive therapy during the day. Clients are able to live at home or in a local structured sober living. This level of care breaks up the day so clients do not experience a locked-down feel in our exclusive mental health and addiction facility.

Individuals can expect to receive group and individual therapy from master’s level therapists. Our clinical team treats addiction as a family disease and encourages patients to include their loved ones in their treatment program. For those clients specifically struggling with mental health issues, our clinical team will address the root cause and teach our clients new and healthy coping mechanisms.  Group therapy is an important part of mental health and substance abuse treatment. Clients will learn how to effectively cope with life stressors without the use of mind and mood-altering substances or unhealthy behaviors. Individual therapy sessions are completed with the client’s primary therapist.

Our Day Treatment Program lasts 30-90 days. Upon completion, the clinical team will determine the step-down program that is in the best interest of the client. Most often, guests will step down to our Intensive Outpatient Program.
